Research, Simplified.
Novi started from a simple observation: students are asked to be researchers, editors, bibliographers and exam candidates at the same time, usually with a handful of disconnected tools.
A typical assignment means collecting sources in one place, reading them in another, taking notes somewhere else, formatting references by hand, writing in a word processor, then trying to keep track of what each source actually said. The tools never talk to each other, so the same material gets retyped and reorganised several times.
Novi exists to join those stages up. A source you add while researching becomes the reference you insert while writing and the evidence you argue from. Nothing is retyped, and nothing is lost between stages.
We are deliberately conservative about what the AI will claim. It will summarise and explain, it will propose arguments and counterarguments, and it will format references according to the conventions of the style you choose. It will not invent a source, a quotation or a page number, and it will not promise that generated work is undetectable or guaranteed accurate. Your reasoning is the part that earns the marks, and Novi is designed to leave it with you.
What Novi stands for
The assignment, not the AI
Novi exists to move real student work forward. Every AI feature is an assistant inside a workflow you control, never a replacement for your thinking.
Accuracy over speed
Referencing is the part students are most likely to be penalised for. Novi would rather flag a missing page number than quietly invent one.
Transparency about limits
Novi distinguishes what came from your sources, what is its own interpretation, and what still needs verifying. It does not pretend to be more certain than it is.
Your work stays yours
Your research, drafts and notes are private to your account and are never published as public content or exposed to search engines.
Questions or feedback?
We read everything students send us — it is how the product gets better.
